HOW IT WORKS

The aim of That’s Pitchin’! is to provide students with the guidance, skills and tools needed to grow their innovative business ideas while offering them support and valuable feedback and incentivising them with the opportunity to win big!

JUDGES

Judge #1 Luke Mullens

Co-Founder of Rich Kids Global

I started my first venture when I was 8 years old, a clothing brand called POW Streetwear. The idea was great but it didn’t take off, and since then I’ve tried my hand at numerous other ventures (including selling glow sicks under Sydney harbour bridge on New Year’s Eve, selling luxury watches - Rolex, Audemars Piguet and Richard Mille, soaps and candles). My entrepreneurial skills were challenged when I tried to sell sweets & soft drinks at school, and now I am a Director of a digital marketing agency redpxl.io and have launched a global joint venture, richkids.global with my business partners in Australia and the USA - we help young people 'Level-Up For Success' through mentorship, courses and our young entrepreneurs' book club.

Judge #2 Cayla Platt

Serial entrepreneur and business investor

Self-taught entrepreneur, Cayla has been involved with several start-ups and invested in businesses that are making a global impact.

Her first business being a hair extension company at the age of 14, she found a gap in the market and filled it. Providing others with the opportunity to earn by being brand ambassadors and offering prices that customers could actually afford.

At 18 she flew herself to the USA and took a job on a Super Yacht, after several years of running the lives and Yachts of global billionaires, she took the knowledge and skills she had accumulated and co-founded a tech start-up as well as invested in a youth skills development business.

“I am always looking for investment opportunities, I am very excited to see what the young minds of London come up with, That’s Pitchin’! will be life changing for the youth. There are so many great ideas and I think that if everyone finds their passion, add a more sustainable approach to how things are currently being done they will succeed. The planet needs everyone to be coming up with ideas that complement the environment, and who better than the youth of London to lead the sustainability movement. Good luck to all those who enter, you are about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime, I’ll see you there.”
